I had a great time on my first visit to this restaurant. I went to see live music to support a friend, and the show put on by a group called The Rock Project was fantastic. The songs were unforgettable, there was a lot of audience engagement, and the atmosphere was lively. The bar snacks and drinks were delicious, and the staff were excellent all night. I highly recommend the hummus and the skin-on fries. I didn't get a chance to try the baked treats at the bar, but they looked tasty. I will definitely be visiting again soon and am excited for future live music events. Having the show in the garden area was a smart move, especially in this weather.
A bit of a disaster. They appear to be short in staff according to the signs near the garden. This is not usually a problem if handled well. But on this occasion in resulted in orders from several tables being mixed up in the kitchen. We saw the waiter return to the kitchen with incorrect dishes. Also long waiting times for good for the same reasons. The food was not bad eventually and the garden is nice. But there needs to be someone in charge that can handle the organisation much better.
The only reason for this review is with the hope that the manager will read and act on my review to help improve his offering or stop serving food .called in to this pub last night for dinner , very disappointing , we each had different menus to start with ,we both chose the pie ! When it eventually came My pastry was raw , the filling tasted suspect ,and tough ,couldn’t eat it .the vegetables were nice .staff were lovely although bewildered .bill and Lynne
The pub is lovely and the staff are very friendly. The garden is small but well looked after. The toilets were clean. During our visit, there were also cakes being sold, although that may have been a special event for the jubilee. There is a good selection of drinks and snacks available, although we did not try the food so we cannot comment on that aspect. Reserva una mesa ahora
The dining experience was very poor. A young girl seemed unsure if she was crying, or more likely if the onions had made her cry. One of us was given a knife with the blade facing outwards. We waited for thirty minutes only to find out they had run out of main dishes. The bill was too expensive for the quality of food we received.
