The Strand Charcoal Grill

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible! I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but the audacity of charging an extra £1 to have a level burger is outrageous, especially when it technically makes it cheaper! To top it off, they delivered a plain chicken burger instead. How, why, and what? When we called to address the issue, we were told they would sort it out next time because they had "no driver". So here I am, sitting in front of everyone enjoying their big meals while I'm stuck with disappointing soggy chips. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from here again. Thank you.

We used to really rate this place as the meat was delicious so tender. Our delivery today was shocking. Both chicken lamb totally over cooked like they had been in a fridge pre-cooked then chucked on a grill to heat up over...cook them more. We also asked for the pitta to be kept separate that was ignored so 2 soggy pittas arrived were really not pleasant to eat. A shame because this place used to be brilliant.

the two brothers that lead this place are extremely rude. instead of greeting you politely, you get that eating is mediocre, nothing special. the fries, as I ordered, were fried twice, as they just fried over chips from the last order! The worst thing is that they only calculate what they want. I always have the same order and every time they try to overload. avoid them!

I ordered last night a pickup of fishing and chips from this place for my wife and me. the food came in immediately, but was not good. it needs an enormous improvement and I would advise to stay good.

only ever had the huh schish kebab from here, but always very delicate, juicy and decent amount of huh.
