The Stump Cross Inn

Absolutely amazing!!!! The staff are brilliant and so accommodating towards their guests with disabilities like myself. The food is lovely. I've been to a lot of carveries and they're always dry and taste like ready meals. This is the first carvery I've actually eaten. It's the best carvery I've been to and the other meals are amazing too. Will definitely be going back. Such a lovely warm welcome

I've had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant over the years, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The staff are consistently cheerful and provide excellent service, and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is usually bustling with activity, but the service remains prompt and efficient. I had a lovely time with my partner on a Friday night. Although the restaurant was busy, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. I wouldn’t have minded waiting longer for such top-class food, and the service was excellent. I definitely plan to return and will recommend this place to my friends!

Had the carvery yesterday there along with my friends. Thick cuts of meat. Nice selection of veg and roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings. Lovely icecream to finish off with. Mint choc lovely. Staff even opened door behind us as a very warm day. All enjoyed meal, all of us well stuffed lol Reserva una mesa ahora

The dining experience was enjoyable, complemented by friendly staff. The children's menu was comprehensive and featured homemade options. My nine-year-old did request a blue steak, which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the mixed grill!

Regularly visit Stump for lunch with my hubby who is a wheelchair user. Staff always very polite and accommodating. Never had anything off either the main menu or specials menu , that we haven't thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.
