The Sugar Gum Hotel

The SugarGum Hotel has Pokies, inside/outside Dining area, Bar, Drive through liquor, and function rooms..We dined in the evening, it's a family atmosphere, pretty basic. Menu is quite good and very reasonable priced. A Seniors menu is also available $14 for 2 course....this was our choice...7/10 for the price...couldn't complain.Staff were very pleasant and advised us to join a rewards membership at no cost, but gives you rewards.. we got a free drink on the night. This is a very basic "Pub" with "Pub" food & Pokies...may call in again when passing. Wouldn't make a special effort though.

I was very disappointed with our dining experience at the Sugar Gum Hotel. the food was good but service let it down badly. firstly we had to ask for our drinks.. kids waited forever for their dessert, i had to go and ask for it. Same with mine and my husband dessert had to go and ask for it as she forgot about it. I would love to see a proper play area for children to play in where it doesnt cost money.Out of 10 i give it a 4.5

I've been here a fair few times. The service is amateurish and the food is ok but the place is always cold. Never found a warm spot.Buffet breakfast is a farce.This place wants to make money from the pokies and is not really interested in anything else as it's very average.

I have been to this restaurant before and it has been ok but last night I Had a stack for dinner omg was very dry and no flavour.. Will not get this again!!! Think twice before you order!!!

The pub's restaurant 'hard' acoustics are preventing it to be a good conversation place. I like it there anyway if it's not too busy.
