My daughter bkd a 21st party here quite a while back for 31st August, they took her money and just gave her a day notice they are closing! Yes closing. She only got a small proportion of her money bck from the woman that was supposed to be doing the food, she is now left out of pocket and no venue for a party. I should make it clear as far as I know the DJ is independent! I visited here myself with my fiancé and younger daughter a couple of weeks ago for a normal pub visit hoping to get some lunch, we were surprised when from the start of walking in there the vibes i got were not good at all, they said.. they weren’t doing food at all and the choice of drinks ‘if you could call it that’ was...

I can't speak to the quality of the food, but the pub has greatly improved under new management. It is now a welcoming establishment in Sun Street's evening scene. While there may not be a wide selection of ales and ciders, the standard options are satisfactory.

Got to say Lee is doing a sterling job! The Pub is no longer clicky. The servers are professional (and thinking they are your mate cause we are in the same town) A real nice laid back pub. Not stuffy. Very relaxed. No idiots in there. Keep up the good work!!

I have dined at this restaurant twice now. The first time was late in the evening and it was very busy. This time, it was quiet. The staff was lovely and the food was amazing. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend paying a visit.

Was directed to this pub by a local and was very surprised by the friendly staff and the really fresh local food. Not expensive and is created with love and attention.
