1st time visiting due to my high standards when it comes to eating at places that claim to serve authentic Mexican food. I had my usual King Burrito favorite menu item and I have to say that it was truly truly great tasting! It was unfortunate that I was on my lunch break, otherwise I would have eaten 2 King Burritos and waddled back to my vehicle afterwards. Give them a try and I'm almost certain that you'll add it as one of your tastiest places to grab a bite!
Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants around. I highly recommend the queen burritos sin queso, all you need is everything including sour cream, the chorizo is house made, the al pastor is better than most. I prefer the orange salsa, which I think is made with chile de árbol. It’s not burnt like other places and has some nice heat. Get a quesadilla on the side for a snack.
This restaurant is typical of a small, unassuming place. The service is lacking, the food quality is mediocre, and there are rude customers and employees. However, the taste is decent, at least for a brief time.

This restaurant is fantastic, offering excellent value for your money with generous portions. Be sure to try the horchata or Jamaica drinks—they're a must! Overall, I give this place an A+.
I had an amazing first experience here and was truly impressed by the friendly customer service. The food was great as well. The cashier wearing the blue hat was especially fantastic!
This is the top Mexican restaurant in Evanston! It was difficult to find a good Mexican restaurant in Chicago after La moved, but this place is worth it.
