The Swan - Reserva de mesa

My partner and stopped in for lunch today half way through a circular walk Ilkley to Addingham. The food was really excellent. The fish in particular was obviously really fresh and cooked perfectly. Secondly the portion sizes are amazing! We're both really big eaters and still left stuffed. The Brazilian fish stew starter was the size of a main!Eat out to help out is obviously a huge perk but even without it, it would've felt like fantastic value. The staff were also lovely and efficent despite it being busy. Will definately return next time we're down this way.

Called an hour before to see if there was a free table for 2 adults and a toddler and luckily they’d had a cancellation. The Sunday dinner (we all had roast beef) was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection and extra gravy was no problem. Drinks were lovely too; they obviously look after their cellars well. The service was lovely and nothing was too much trouble without being overbearing. Feel like we’ve found a gem looking forward to visiting again soon.

Luckily this is our local and I always take for granted how excellent the food is and how good the staff are at accommodating and looking after us but I had to post a review following our last visit for Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely fab. Most of us had the lamb Henry with fish and chips for the kids and it was so good I can’t stop thinking about it! A great village pub, with friendly staff, locals and a really good quality menu with regular specials. Highly recommend!

We visited The Swan twice whilst staying in a log cabin at the nearby Olicana Park. What a find! Best in the village for food, well kept beer, good wine, great atmosphere and friendly staff!We enjoyed bargain price fish and chips on their specials’ night, but you would have been just as happy paying full price!We’re staying in a cabin again next month and this will be our ‘go to’ pub/restaurant....especially as it’s within stumbling distance! Had a family Sunday lunch here whilst visiting Bolton Abbey. Great village pub with a fantastic atmosphere and good food. The covid precautions in place made us feel confident eating here. Be warned the portions are massive.

Fab fish, excellent choice of local ales and decent wine. Good Covid measures and felt very safe for first proper meal out. Thank you and see you soon

Very happy with our steaks, kids meals and desserts. IPA and gravy were top notch. Service is was good and We'll return if we are ever in the area.

Lovely old character pub with flagstone floors and open fires. Great food and a wide choice. Great ambiance and friendly stall

Sunday lunch was excellent. Very friendly welcoming staff. Well staffed and well organised. Couldn’t have been better.
