I recently watched the Grand National at this friendly local pub and it is definitely worth a visit. The pub has a flagstone floor, wood panels, and a real fire which creates a cozy atmosphere. I would give it four stars, but my pint of Doombar was not quite up to par. However, I will definitely be back to give it another try!
Booked Sunday lunch, they took our number but when we arrived there was no chef, no food. No body bothered to inform us! Pub quite quaint inside. Hopefully for them it was a blip, as there seem to be some good reviews.
A very unfriendly woman with dark hair was serving behind the bar. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years, but this was the first time I felt unhappy here. The atmosphere was rated 1 out of 5.

The meal was excellent and the staff was fantastic! I had a really enjoyable evening and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This pub is absolutely revolting. I can't even begin to describe some of the things I witnessed while I was there.
