I cannot say enough amazing things about the Talking Teacup. The setting itself is breathtaking. The history in the building adds to the ambience. They have a wonderful selection of teas. There’s definitely something for everyone. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Everything is fresh and scratch made. You can feel the passion and love that goes into each thoughtfully prepared dish. Not only was everything fantastic, but they offer a great value. This is the most affordable tearoom in the area, but I found their offerings to be the best. We will definitely be returning time and time again. I can’t wait to attend some of the special events they offer as well.
Patti Fitzpatrick, the new owner, is a delight as was the food we were served. Glad this business is open again. She did some updating to the place and it is cozy and friendly. Patti is very accommodating as she asked if anyone had any food allergies and one a person in our party didn't care for one of the sandwiches served (not because it wasn't tasty but this person didn't care for the item) Patti was quick to replace it. Loved the many different choices of teas. Will definitely be going back. There are 2 seatings, 11am and 2pm, so you can enjoy the experience. Glad it's open again. True gem, give it a try.
Long-time patron under the previous owner and always delighted with the experience. In short—the new owners have made it better than ever with nods to the previous owner (Kathy’s) passion. The renovations have made for a soft, comfortable, homey escape. Teas are available for purchase, and the tea menu is extensive and delicious. Breakfast was so tasty we booked for lunch next month as we checked out! Banana walnut scones and mushroom shallot frittata were highlights. A true place out of time, it feels like a mini vacation to visit.
My family went to the Talking Tea Cup on Easter Sunday to celebrate my mom's birthday as a surprise for her and we were absolutely blown away! My sister and I had grown up going to the tea house as little kids and hadn't been in many years. The food was delicious, the service was phenomenal, and we had such a special morning spending time together. We will most definitely be back!
