I eat here all the time I came for dinner I ordered my sauce for my bag garlic butter and lemon pepper medium, I got my order and it was spicer than normal I told them I think it was a mistake he told me it wasn’t but he would take my food and add more sauce I told him that would make it spicier he told me they will wash it off (after he said that he tried to cut himself off) I said wash it off with water he said he said wash it off with water and add new sauce, I said why can’t you cook me a new order he said no we can not throw food away if you would like you don’t have to pay for it I will take it, so I kept my food he comes back to tell me that they gave me Tasty special (which is Cajun,...
It was very good. I relocated from Chicagoland to Peoria. I drove from Peoria and thus location in Bloomington and it did not disappoint. It had Japanese items on the menu such as a Japanses soda, which was different than Cajun or creole places I've grown up with or experienced. I wanted fried okra and it wasn't on the menu. Overall this place was worth the drive.Kid-friendliness: There were kid menus and they brought out my child's food first.Parking: Parking was easy. Your standard lot.Wheelchair accessibility: I did not notice any stairs, very accessible. Tables spreaded out with distance between them.
Have been wanting to try this place out for a while. Getting seafood in a state that's not close to the sea is always sketch. The prices are ridiculously high for crab. No claims except in a chowder, which tasted like it was from a can. The salad was from a bag. The crab cakes were not fresh, and filled more with bread crumbs than actual crab, like what you'd get in the freezer section of the store. Not worth the price. I realize options are limited, but if you want good seafood, this place isn't it.
Food was delicious I had the fried catfish with fries corn on the cob,it was crispy hot,the fish was not dry.hubby had a mixed bag of sausage,crab legs,shrimp ,with the potatoes corn..service was good,waitress was attentive and fast.I would come back again.The decor is a mix of all kinds of stuff,some Asian motif,a wall of license plates,a pond..I was there for the food,so it all worked out.

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were seated at our table. Our server promptly took our drink orders and returned quickly with our beverages. Within just 5 minutes of arriving, our food was served and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional. Overall, we give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
So, the food here is awesome. Don't even hesitate to try it out. It was extremely clean and tidy. The service was immaculate and perfectly attentive. It's obvious that this building was originally a Chinese restaurant; The decor hasn't changed much. However, it was the best seafood I had in Illinois. I would gladly return next time I'm in the area.

"Really good! The food was fresh and flavorful! Maybe a bit too salty, but everything was fresh, tasty, and well made. I made sure to wear gloves and a bib to stay clean because it was packed with butter and garlic! And don't forget to save some space for the cheesecake!"
We all Love great food that fulfills one's appetite. Allow greatness even if you can't Speak the language, just know what you want with the great menu items. I loved my waitress. My daughter was greatly pleased and excited to eat here.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly cups.

This restaurant is absolutely delicious! We saw an advertisement on Facebook and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did - the staff was friendly, the food was amazing, and we left feeling very satisfied. We will definitely be returning to this place again!
