Fantastic meal. Large portions and really delicious. Beautiful views and huge gin selection. We had cajun salmon with salad and potatoes. Pecan and seaweed salmon with potatoes, carrots and a rosti. Veggie haggis wrapped in aubergine and steak pie. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: A couple of staple veggie options. I highly recommend the veggie haggis wrapped in aubergine. We headed to the Strathkinness Tavern based on a recommendation from our B B. The wait staff was super knowledgeable about not only the food menu, but the drink menu and beer selection as well. We started off with a few cheddar scones which were amazing followed by our entrees of a Steak Ale Pie, Haddock Risotto and Pecan Crusted Salmon. Every single one of them was amazing!

Decent wee Inn, great barman Austin, chatty and very professional currently doing a degree or 2 at St Andrews University whilst working in this bar to feed the family, nice place and looked like it could produce fine fair, top notch!! we had a nice meal tonight for 4 and all the dishes were delicious. we had the fish and chips, steak pies and fishcakes. we also had two of the hahn beer that were also very nice and service was great. fantastic evening, thank you!

Great place for a meal. Turned up without a booking on a Friday night dring St Andrews graduation week and they made room for us. Recommend their steak pie and ribeye steak. Price per person: £40–50 Recommended dishes: Steak Pie
