The Tea Room - Reservar una mesa

The dining experience was excellent. No so for the string of inane digital reminders to me about the booking. Reminders are rapidly becoming quite common for various appointments and I think they are really helpful for both parties. But I don 't agree with multiple reminders and I particularly dislike receiving a note asking me to confirm or cancel the booking. Which crazy IT chappy came up with this insulting idea! It gets worse! I did click on Confirm as requested but 24 hrs after consuming the hearty meal I see I have another message saying Restaurant and tea room at the Feathers Hotel is waiting for the re confirmation of your booking of 30th January 2023 to keep your table . Clicking on the link takes me to a The Fork website in a foreign language French I think. Enough is enough! If this happens again I will hit the Cancel button.

I took my mother for the afternoon tea. Really disappointing and very expensive. Very rough waitress and quality of food was very bad. Restaurant was not very clean and several dogs in the restaurant. The money not worth

What a beautiful place, the staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly and the food was amazing! Both I and my husband could not harm the food or service and really enjoyed our evening.

The ambience was nice, staff efficient and friendly, but no table was reserved. Maybe call in advance and make sure.
