Went there on a Tuesday night with a group of 7. Starters were served after the main courses, weirdly. Staff apologized but didn't make up for it no drinks on the house, no food taken off the menue or so. Food quality was fine, fish and chips were better than at most pubs. The atmosphere was a little more sterile than at other pubs. Drinks were fine and average, interestingly no vodka sours were served. Clearing tables with used dishes took one hour although we had asked twice for service, which was quite annoying.
Brilliant pub, very busy Thursday evenings, we had lunch there on the Friday and used it as a pre wedding gathering point for Daughter’s wedding up the road at RSA House on the Saturday (brilliant venue). Service was excellent across all the time we were there AND it has a magnificent three double bed apartment on the second floor with own access just brilliant for our wedding party. Manager Mike did everything we asked and more to help us just great.
Lovely pub tucked away behind Charing Cross. I use this as somewhere to grab a quick lunch before shopping trips into Covent Garden. Food promptly served and very tasty never had an issue getting a table. Beer very well priced for central London. Has the advantage you don’t have to struggle getting down the crowded Strand Tip for getting to CG Go down John Adam street, cross the Strand, go up Nell Gwynn alley and you are in Covent Garden.
I hired out the upstairs function room for my retirement drink for my family a.d work colleagues Saturday just gone the service and food was absolutely amazing, Jordan the barman did an outstanding job serving drinks all evening , he was friendly polite and nothing was too much trouble. The entire event from the booking to the quality of food was brilliant thank you so much for making our evening so memorable. 5 star service. Mr Dellar.

Stumbled across this pub a block or two off Trafalgar Square, and glad we did. The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. My wife had what she described as the best hamburger in the UK, while I enjoyed very good Bangers Mash. The sourdough bread and pickled vegetables were also very good.
Had a fabulous retirement evening with friends in the Villiers Room. The staff were attentive and everything was delivered as requested. The bar snack platters were a real hit, range of drink met all tastes. A fantastic evening creating special memories. Thank you.
Great for a casual night out, tucked right off The Strand. Staff was very attentive, friendly inviting. Drinks were delicious! We’ll definitely visit again the next time we are in London!
Stayed in the 3 double bed self catering flat. Excellent accommodation, modern style with everything you need. Great location to explore London. Highly recommended...

Booking for a small leaving function. We had ordered some food platters and sides, which were really good, and quite substantial. It is a great atmosphere.
