I’ve lived in the area for four years, and I finally decided to catch the Astros playoff game at this restaurant. My wife and I ordered wings and a double cheeseburger to share. The wings were amazing! They were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The selection of sauces was fantastic, with the bourbon sauce being my favorite. The burger was also excellent—juicy and cooked just right. The bun was sturdy and had wonderful flavor. Although I'm not usually a fan of fries, these were outstanding. I had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. It took about 10 minutes for our waitress, I think her name was Mia, to finally come to our table and take our drink order. After another 10 minutes, she brought our drinks but then said she would return shortly to take our food order, even though we were ready to order as soon as she brought the drinks. She visited other tables multiple times without acknowledging our presence. Eventually, we got tired of waiting and decided to leave. We drove over an hour hoping for a nice lunch, but it just didn't happen.
The Thirsty Parrot Grill definitely has the vibe of a classic bar, with its atmosphere and clientele matching that expectation. I went in anticipating standard bar food but was happily surprised by the quality. The staff were welcoming and provided excellent service. I’ll definitely return. I tried the ribeye quesadilla and a burger—the quesadilla was tasty, but the burger was outstanding.

A local drop in kind of place. Been going there for years. New ownership growing pains are to be expected but getting better as new folks get the particulars figured out. Bike Friendly, Biker Friendly, Folk Friendly, Dog Friendly, just an all around goodplace to grab a quick meal and a cold one...or just a cold one
I took my husband out to check out a nearby ranch and we stopped by The Thirsty Parrot Grill for a drink. The staff was great, the food and drinks were excellent. It's a popular spot for many motorcycle clubs to gather, and we met some really friendly people.
The Thirsty Parrot Grill offers an outstanding menu, especially their burgers and wings, which are truly exceptional. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Our entire group had an amazing experience—everyone loved their meal and we all had a great time.
Good but average ice house (Bring your own bottle/liquor. Buy soda, other mixers, ice, wine and beer from bar) Pros: Drink, eat, hang out, bikes, jukebox, pool, other games, cool barkeeps and customers. No real Cons except not enough exceptional Pros.

Off the beaten path, this place will blow you away with their food. Take a Sunday drive and stop here for lunch. You will not be disappointed.
