This has become one of my favourite places to eat. The newly refurbished restaurant is really lovely and homely. Sunday lunch is always really busy and we always enjoy it. My husband is a particular fan of the "Trio" three meats and an extra yorkshire pudding. The mash, roasties and gravy are also delicious. They could do with varying the veg a little bit, as this can get a bit boring, but that is my only criticism. You also HAVE to try the Manchester Tart for dessert! Recently went for a meal on a Saturday evening and the a la carte menu is very impressive

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant on our way to Beamish. There were four of us in need of some refreshments for the day. We decided to order from the breakfast menu and were completely satisfied with our meals. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and we highly recommend this place. We will certainly make an effort to visit again. Thank you.
During my parents' first visit to this restaurant, there were 13 of us and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the food was delicious. I had a family dinner for my birthday tonight at The Three Horseshoes. The staff and service were exceptional, only surpassed by the delicious dishes served by the kitchen team. I highly recommend this restaurant and can assure you, I am quite a food critic.
We had Xmas day dinner with friends and the food was delicious.. beautifully cooked turkey and beef with lovely starters and Xmas pudding.. we all said it was one of the best Xmas dinners we have ever had .. service was tops ! Many thanks
One of my favorite places to eat when I travel there from Florida to see family. Have never had a bad meal there ever.Had my 60th Birthday celebration there a few years back. The staff did a flawless job.
We the parmo, chicken breast with peppercorn sauce and ham ciabatta and all were outstanding and the staff were fantastic. This is our favourite eating place.
