I have to say the fish pie tonight was amazing. Plenty of fish and prawns not the normal disappointment of trying to find the filling and full of flavour. Only bettered by one at Rick Steins although three times the price. The crushed potatoe topping was crusty and not soggy so obviously freshly cooked, not the oftern soggy top that has accustomed itself as an average standard to the modern pub culture. My choice of side, creamed spinach was also well worth trying. Had a beautiful punch of garlic too. Something many chefs seem scared to do in recent times. We booked the table in advance, which was super easy to do. The staff were super friendly and knew the menu very well, gave some good recommendations. The food was delicious! I had the roast pork which was really good they did forget to bring out the crackling (which I think they did on purpose as they did the same with another table near us lol I did also have the stuffing which was some of the best I have ever eaten. Will definitely come again :
This is a lovely location beside a canal. We had a great lunch outside on some of the plentiful seating. The inside had a good amount of tables as well. The food was very good. Would very much recommend this spot. The parking is a bit awkward with it essentially being some spaces alongside the narrow road (a dead end) leading up to the pub/restaurant.
I’ve been to the Three Locks a few times now. Service is sometimes hit-and-miss but the staff are friendly and the quality of the food is generally good. They have been accommodating with adjusting dishes to be vegan. A nice gastro pub with a relaxed, local feel.

Three best things about this pub... Canal side location, local beers from the Tring Brewery and its gets some lovely evening sun on the tables by the canal. Hence we visit here quite regularly during the summer, can't comment on food as never eaten here!
Food was fantastic and ultra friendly staff happy to help at any point. Will definitely be back again. Lovely and chilled atmosphere by the canal. For a first visit rest assured I'll be back again in the future.
Nice atmosphere right on the Locks. Good food. Quite a lot of gluten free options. I had the gluten free bacon and cheese toastie with fries. It was very tasty. Would definitely recommend
The food here is absolutely excellent. They have a really varied menu and while the prices are on the higher side the portions are generous and the meals are delicious.

Nice pub beside the canal. Barman was so nice and welcoming. Had a lovely pint of cider.
Good Meal and nice to sit and watch the boats going through the locks..
