The Tickled Toad Pub and Grill

I wouldn`t tickle this toad again, my burger was undercooked, I asked for medium well and I got rare, rare to the point blood dripped when i took a bite. I politely asked for it to be cooked more, the waitress huffed n puffed and brought it back and was exactly the same. I just didnt eat eat it and ate the fries, which were greasy and soggy and cold at this point. My friend got a chicken sandwich, some silly name i cant remember, but the tomatoes were rotten and the bun was stale, he also got a wicked stomach ache later on that night. Worst place to dine..! Would'nt recommend this place! Don't come here people. Food tasted just average and bland. They're overcharging for something that is available in other restaurants for cheaper price. Been there for a couple of times. Last time when I went there the atmosphere was not too pleasant, it smelled of rotten fish. Plus the staff were so rude and cheap, and were asking for more tips.Another weird thing I often noticed in this restaurant is that there's a strange looking bald headed old man with a goatee in his late 70s sitting at a table, always staring at people while holding a camera and pointing his index finger at them. I found this place a couple months ago after moving to the area recently. I was looking for a sports bar atmosphere because I don’t have TV service at my new place yet. Tonight I went to watch the Philly 76ers game. I was enjoying the game until the end of the 3rd qtr…that’s when the establishment turned on every screen in the place to the Leaf’s game and refused to keep at least 1 screen on the Sixers’ game. I felt totally dismissed and discarded because I’ve spent good money at the establishment. I won’t ever be back. They made it clear that they don’t want my business anymore!

The food was greasy and bland, and the menu seems too large to have fresh products. The wings were famously small and dry. The worst part though is the owner of this restaurant has appeared multiple times on a Youtube channel, KBD Productions TV. The man who runs that channel is a pathological liar/con artist who set up a fake charity donation drive and told his viewers to send him money instead of directly donating to the Barrie Food Bank. What a pleasant surprise!I went for a group dinner and Pickled Toad and Czechvar beer were celebrating Best Sports Bar in T.O. What a blast! Live entertainment, laughter at every table and staff were fun and friendly.Enjoyed the steak sandwich with a brioche bun, delicious sauce and a generous perfectly done steak. Delicious. Wings looked fantastic every time I saw them get delivered to another table. Have to go back soon.

Great pub and good food! ..they had a chicken spring roll that was like a mix between a pakora and Simosa that was really good! I had the Butter Chicken (real) and rest of the group rounded out with a burger, fish n chips and other additional dishes...staff friendly, restaurant

The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We ordered fish and chips and hot wings, both of which were good but not quite perfect. It's an ideal spot to catch live music, hang out with friends, or watch your favorite sports games on TV.

Really cozy familiar run bar. Very fair prices for food and drinks. Has a nice dart and billiard table. Food quality is very good for a bar and portions are fair. Would definitely Reserva una mesa ahora

A hidden gem of a place. Great menu, great food, fun, friendly staff and live music. What else can you ask for? We will definitely be back.

I saw a video about Youtuber Ken Domik suggesting this restaurant on some of his vlogs. The food was actually really good!
