I have gone to this pub for years on a Friday/Saturday night however recently I had the most disgusting experience. The bouncers quite clearly we’re letting drunk people in of all races however told me and my sister we were too drunk. To this, I got extremely offended and stood my ground.... wrong thing to do! They were abusive, racist and sexist. They laughed in our faces, joked about us together, tried to intimidate us one of the door staff was female) started using racist language towards us, homophonic language, sexual innuendos towards us. I had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday at this restaurant. The majority of the food was delicious, but I was disappointed when two people in our group requested no mayo on their dishes and it arrived with mayo. Instead of recooking the dishes, they simply scraped off the mayo and returned them to our table. This is not only poor form, but also potentially dangerous. I would return for the pub atmosphere, which I loved, but not for the food. If you're looking for a more affordable option with a nice view, I recommend checking out Yucca Garden nearby.
I visited the Tiger 2 weeks ago for the first time on a saturday night with a party of friends. So after a while I went out for a cigarette, the bouncer became aggressive with me and would not let me back in. I complained and he threatened to punch me in the face. Then I had to wait outside for over an hour for my party of friends to come out so we can head back home...I do remember the pub being the silver Buckle and the Doorman and Bar staff were polite in those days, But unfortunetly It has changed hands for the worse.
We originally visited for a drink, but ended up staying for a meal. We tried the roast dinner on a Sunday, and enjoyed the great atmosphere with comfortable sofas, cozy nooks, and plenty of tables. The bar staff were friendly and talkative, and we could see into the kitchen and watch the cook at work. The starters and main course were delicious, and we definitely plan on returning in the future!

Dreadful place, but so much potential. Every beer that we asked for was off, so ended up drinking some dreadful bitter. Staff did not think it was a problem.
Great! Good beer. Dark, loud, atmospheric, faded characterful wallpaper. What a pub should be. As my wife said, All spit and sawdust ! Great!
I really enjoy this restaurant. They have a diverse lineup of DJ's playing different sets, and the drinks are reasonably priced as well.

The pub is iconic to me and I was disappointed by the surly service by the female bar tender. Really traditional interior which I love.
Funking rude Bartender. I had ordered a drink at the bar and the bartender Slam my drink on the table had a Attitude for no reason.
