The Tollgate Sizzling Pubs

Just came back from having an early dinner. Food was well presented and tasted amazing, specially the halloumi fries and my daughters steak was perfect the was she likes it and a good bit of meat. Becca great customer service, welcoming, helpful and friendly. I been here loads before and it's been hit and miss but today was by far the best experience here and in many other places aswel Thanks Becca and to the Chef which who I believe is the one who helped me with my voucher aswel

Awful in the end we left and asked for a refund of the children's puddings got to be one of the worst pubs iv ever been to if i could rate it 0 then i would of, there was only 3 tables with people on one of which had been served yet there was still a 1.5 hour wait for mains we received ours half the stuff missing asked for the children's pudding was still waiting over 45 mins in the end i got fed up of waiting

twice, once for breakfast and once on Saturday night. the breakfast was really good and the portion size and taste was good...won on Saturday night at 22:50 assumed that the dj would play until midnight as before but he stopped playing at 23:00. the dj was absolutely drunk and was constantly swearing until he packed his equipment. the dj apologised for his behavior, but the bar staff would not have allowed.

Lovely pub! Clean tables, food was amazing! Drinks were delicious! bit of music playing, looking forward to another dj nights! Bar staff were chatty and friendly, family friendly pub staff were amazing with the little ones! A lovely garden, perfect for them summer days! Reserva una mesa ahora

Loved the chicken skewers absolutely delicious definitely recommend to everyone best thing on menu. Also the treacle sponge was amazing and staff was welcoming and helpful and a great family pub asked who chef was cooked to perfection

I always order the buttermilk Italian style chicken when visiting the tollgate, however tonight was the best it had ever tasted. I asked to compliment the chef and was delighted to meet Jane Hockling. Thanks Jane it was delicious

The staff were all delightful. The food was outstanding and Chef Jane was willing to accommodate any requests. The dishes were cooked perfectly and served promptly. We are excited for our next visit.

Good atmosphere, with friendly staff. Billy served me and was very joyous! Good for sport aswell! Will definitely come back
