The Torridge Inn - Reserva de mesa

I emailed the restaurant a week in advance to let them know about my wheat and white potato intolerances. They kindly accommodated me by providing sweet potatoes. Both my husband and I enjoyed the delicious rib eye, which practically melted in our mouths. Even our children finished all their dinner, which is a rare occurrence. The waitress was fantastic. The only downside was that the restaurant was a 5-hour drive away, making it quite a long journey for dinner.

This is the first time I have been back since the new chef has taken over and what a change. We were told it was a limited menu (taking the gammon steak off the menu is a terrible idea) and the most appealing choice was the fish and chips. Frozen chips and it tasted like frozen fish. The coffee was cold and looked like dishwater. This is a lovely pub and it was such a shame to see the standards slip in this way.

We had a great experience at this village pub! My father has Celiac disease and it can be challenging to find places to eat, but they were able to provide us with a gluten-free portion of their delicious fish and chips for takeout. My father said it was the best gluten-free batter he has ever had! Thank you to Ben and Tara for a wonderful meal.

Well this pub has had many guises, from great food to frozen brake brothers food I know I see the trucks ! The owner has many problems, the main one being her attitude to drink drivers... that’s ok apparently. Well it’s not OK and you can ban people who report it, but when somebody dies, then it comes back to you Emma Clements ! Reserva una mesa ahora

Treats her staff like **** and she doesn't even know how to cook a burger as she gave my friend food poisoning a few months back. It was better when Tara was there much better atmosphere and always made you feel welcome when you went in. No chief is there anymore and he was a great chief. Shame the owner treats people like ****.

Fabulous food so good, we ate there 2 nights in a row. Great staff, very welcoming locals and a really lovely proprietor, Emma. We have very fond memories to take home to Australia, til we next visit. We highly recommend this Inn.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch at the Torridge Inn they have a new chef who is cooking some great dishes well worth a visit. The real ale was cracking quality as well had a choice of two on my visit Otter and Adnams Broadside.

Visited here on 8.7.17. Loved it here, especially as they allowed our dog Jack to come in. We sat in the garden and Jack even enjoyed playing with their dog. A lovely meal with a super waitress. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had an amazing dining experience at the Torridge Inn. Our meal was delicious, the wine selection was great, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Thank you for another wonderful meal.

Had a fantastic meal on Tuesday the 27th June. All meals tasted fantastic and were presented to a very highest standard. Excellent excellent excellent Thank you.
