After noticing lipstick smudges on a dirty glass, my husband returned it to the barmaid who claimed they were watermarks. When condiments with cake remnants around the bottle neck were brought to the table, it raised further concerns about hygiene. The food looked appetizing, but upon closer inspection, the cutlery was dirty and had to be replaced. The fish was average, lacking freshness as it had a fishy smell. Unhappy with the barmaid's unhelpful attitude, my husband requested to speak to the manager, only to discover that she was the 'acting manager for the day'. We came on a Mon after 7pm just for drinks. Relatively quiet. 2 ppl and 1 small well behaved dog. Asked if they were dog friendly and the lady behind the bar said yeah we are. My husband came in with the dog and the lady came over and said oh we are not dog friendly after 7pm as it was 7.15pm. I was a bit taken a back. It was a Mon night and quiet. We have been in before at 10pm on a Saturday night and there have been other dogs in. Anyway the forth across from this pub was very welcoming and dog friendly they welcomed us and said there are dog blankets, treats and water bowls available help yourself. Just a little review to maybe consider extending your dog friendly times. Thank you

We recently visited the town wall knowing that they had a good range of beers on offer. We asked the bar tender what IPAs were on offer and was very sharply told to look at the board which had no information. We asked the member of staff again for more information to which she replied to ‘just look at the taps at the front of the bar’ We were very disappointed with this service that we decided to walk out and go to the forth where service was much friendlier and approachable. I feel that a bit of training in customer service and staff knowledge is required.

Top Rate Service from Pascal in Pleasant Venue I have just attended a Meetup group at the Town Wall. What a joy it was to be served by Pascal. The ability to smile at customers and engage in conversation makes all the difference. We felt very welcome and it was a lovely quiet place to have a chat with a brilliant oblong table in a booth. What a lovely pub this is. We've just had Sunday lunch here and it was delicious. The place itself is cosy and welcoming. I love the whole wall dedicated to being library shelves. You could quite happily spend the whole afternoon in here. I can't believe I have never been in before. Definitely worth a return visit.

The tables at this restaurant were dirty and sticky, with remnants of old food stuck in the gaps of the wooden tabletops. The bar staff were inattentive, more focused on chatting amongst themselves than on serving customers.

Found by chance, great beer, friendly service and a great steak. Well worth a visit, not outrageous on price. Get a corner seat as a little dark inside. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food is great, the beer is amazing, nice location mix new and old, comfortable but no service. Not very cheap but price is honeat.
