Maybe it was designed with Chaplin's life in mind, essentially a three dish menu is perhaps not worthy of a restaurant. More fitting for a cafeteria. To mark Chaplin's humble London origins; fish and chips. Nice thick pieces of fish, with broad golden chips served with a tartar sauce. Simple. Tasty. A good sized portion. In memory of his American life: a hamburger. The meat was tasty, but the bun.... Europeans in general need to understand that baguette like bread will never make a decent burger bun. We knew that after spending a few hours at the museum that we'd be hungry so we made reservations the day before. Most likely a good idea as towards the end of our meal the room was quite full of other museum goers.Service was friendly and efficient. Food was quite good - the chicken skewer was large and well cooked. Burger was cooked to perfection.There is also a self service area on the main level should you wish to order at the counter and serve yourself.

We came to have lunch before visiting Chaplin's World which is located nearby the restaurant. The food was good but almost cold. This is certainly due to the slow service (clearly understaffed). Also, we HAD to have the Easter special because as the menu was not available on this occasion. This was not announced on the restaurant's site. At 45.- or 50.- CHF for a two or three course menu we might have gone somewhere else would we have been aware of this.

I stopped there for lunch with my grandsons (3- and 5-year old) who shared a kid's menu which included a sirop and a dessert. They loved it even though grandpa changed their menu from French Fries to pasta (a change done without a problem). I had a great Wok dish! The waiters were extremely professional and helpful. The main floor "cafe" portion of the Tramp is small and hence can become crowded - but there is outdoor seating as well if the weather cooperates. A good range of simple, "lunch" foods at reasonable prices and good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful in site of it being a very busy day.

Pleasant outdoor setting (it was a very nice early autumn day); hard working, very helpful and efficient staff. Wide selection on menu; food seems to be prepared on order. Good !Popular with visitors to Chaplin's World, and would strongly recommend reserving a table before going to the museum.

The food is very good and well done, surprising quality given expectations from simple menu. Ordering system is a bit chaotic but all else good. Whole experience of the museum and restaurant was great.

On a sunny day, for sure a must, sitting outside, on the terrace, enoying the sun and watch the people, there is no better way to enjoy live Reserva una mesa ahora

We were pleased we had reserved a table as it was very busy. The food was good and well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We had a good time having coffee, muffins and cakes at the Tramp. The upper floor has been very well renovated.
