The Tranent Villa - Reserva de mesa

Think the owner is on holiday, last and rhis week my meal has been appauling. This used to be my favourite take away, but after tonight i don't think i will be back. Onion Currry the onions were raw and i know they chop chunky but this was like quartered onions, not seperated. Woul have been as well sticking whole raw onions in. Chips was more like a bag of chipsticks, overcooked, rock solid, lots of tiny scrappy chips. Uneidable. Ribs were freezing and chewy. I waited ages, the girl serving kept going through the back, talking loudly and shouting and laughing, like they had nothing else to do.

The food was decent but possibly tampered with. The service was terrible. When we ordered in the store, we were immediately met with verbal abuse from the staff. They expressed dislike for us without any reason. Is it too late to order at 9:30pm at a place that closes at 11pm? The staff's attitude and behavior were uncalled for, unjust, unwelcoming, and downright rude. We recently moved to Tranent and wanted to try a local takeaway to celebrate, but were met with discriminatory and unwelcoming treatment. We will not be returning to this establishment and do not recommend it.

As a lover of Chinese food, I order from the Tranent Villa on a regular basis. I'm sure the woman who answers the phone is sick of hearing from me lol I gave this a 4 out of 5 simply because I can't stand soggy chips, which there is sometimes. Other than that, I love the food here. I'd recommend the Munchie Box, if you like spicy food. Or for something milder, the Special Platter.

First visit and thought Id try the reasonably priced set menu. Sweet and sour Vhicken had very odd aftertaste and chicken mushy. Crispy beef was chewy and half was burnt. Rice and soup was ok but rest went in bin. Won't try again Reserva una mesa ahora

I ordered the chicken chow Mein from this restaurant, but it was more like chow Mein with a few pieces of chicken. The portion size seemed smaller and the quality has definitely declined. I won't be returning to this place.

Absolutely revolting. I visited this restaurant just 15 minutes ago for chicken balls and curry sauce. The chicken balls could easily knock out a drug addict and were dripping in grease.

Daughter ordered chips with salt and chilli cheese. Charged £5.85 food turned up freezing cold and soggy, put a temp gauge in showed 10degrees! Seriously dodgy food temp!,,,

Food was disgusting. Not fit for humans, animals etc. Crispy Beef was a congealed mess in a tub. It all went in the bin. Worst take-away I have ever seen in my life. Reserva una mesa ahora

Service always quick and efficient, the food is lovely here one of the best in the area! Just remember to bring cash as they do not offer a card payment.

Soggy chips, questionable curry sauce, salt and chilli chicken is sickly and bbq spare ribs were pale in colour. 0/10..
