I can't find anything to criticize about this fish and chip shop. It was my first visit, and I received freshly cooked food for my entire order. I'm perfectly fine with waiting for freshly prepared meals. The food was delicious and not overly greasy. The portion sizes were quite generous for the price. It's cash only, but there's an ATM just a few doors down if you need it. I'll definitely be returning for another meal! Service was for takeout.

Delicious fish and chips! The service is quick, friendly, and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. My only minor critique is that the opening hours are somewhat limited, which can lead to high demand. However, the staff manages to serve efficiently and accurately, and the food is always freshly prepared, making it worth the wait. This is truly the best fish and chips I've had for miles! Definitely deserves a solid 5 stars.

Traditional fish and chips. Food is absolutely delicious, mouth watering, really. Staff is efficient but also always smile on their face and will cheer customers with nice word for every one. Place is very busy at lunch and teatime and that is clearly a very good recommendation. When I have friends over, local or abroad, The Trawler is definitely on our list for having tasty meal.

I dined here for the first time tonight, and I was really impressed. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and, most importantly, the food is excellent. I'm still working on my meal, but I couldn't wait to leave a review. I'm already full, but it's so delicious that I plan to finish everything! We will definitely be coming back! We no longer visit this restaurant because they don't offer gluten-free fish and chips. If they had just one gluten-free option, my whole family would choose to eat here, but now we prefer other places. Food Rating: 1.
