My previous visits had been weekenders, whereas this was a Tuesday so it was far less crowded and we were able to sit in the beautiful outdoor dining area in the back. Such a cute little place with a very inviting courtyard. Our breakfast here was delicious but there were a few things that didn't add up... We ordered 2 pots of tea, and received one that was empty of leaves (was waiting for it to brew.. Lol. They could have said something).
Secondly our two SIDE order of rock hard, thinly sliced pieces of toasts totaled $16 because we asked for jam and vegemite. Hmm... At least the cherry jam was yum but for that price, perhaps they made their own vegemite too...? To keep it positive they do have very friendly and accommodating waitresses. Might come back for lunch one day (no side orders tho!)
Good location and really good service. Love the lay out of this cafe. Pretty damn good flapjacks (only for a sweet tooth though)- I get them every time and absolutely love them (probably the best ive ever had to be honest). Other breakfast options are good too. Lunch menu needs a little work I think (with a greater variety). Perhaps some salads in the window rather than just on the menu? Good coffee, good food, good location, brilliant set up. Sometimes hard to park but just go to the back streets and it's only a short walk

Have had numerous breakfasts and lunches at The Tuckshop and have always been very impressed. Absolutely faultless food, a talented barista, attentive service and a great atmosphere to the place. A true Brisbane treasure!
Really enjoyed my breakfast at the tuck shop. The food was lovely and the interior is done beautifully. I will definitely be back. They also use fonzie Abbott coffee which is divine.
I've been here twice for fundraising lunches held here by my girlfriend in support of Coast Trek!! The food is always good, we fill it and the atmosphere is great!! Very nice
The Tuckshop in Hendra is fantastic, it's a beautiful space with awesome artwork and a great menuI had smashed avo with corn bread and black beans.

Went here for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Not spectacular, but a good, solid breakfast that you would expect from a quality cafe.
I have just finished my two fried eggs with toast and a mocha from The TuckshopOverall it was an enjoyable experience.
