The Unicorn - Reserva de mesa

We stopped in to the Unicorn rather late in the evening, hoping they were still serving dinner. They were most gracious, ushering us to a comfortable table in a part of the restaurant that wasn't quite as loud (we were getting together to catch up and didn't want to shout over the din). Two of us ordered fish, one pasta, and one beef. All dishes were great. When one of our party ordered a beer that wasn't at the downstairs bar where we were seated, the bartender quickly ran upstairs to grab what we ordered. No problem. Really a good experience. After dinner, the upstairs offered more of a bar scene with great music and pool tables. Fun!

You walk downstairs to what was the cool room and is now the bistro. There's a beer/food garden outside. You go to the small bar to order your food and wine. The menu is cute Australian with Jatz biscuits, corn beef and white sauce and lots of sausages and steak. It's a cute space but the service including the wait to order is a nightmare despite staff who try really hard. The star is the bus boy who would be head waiter anywhere else! Not really worth a visit

It's not all designer looks here but downstairs in the restaurant there's a great ambience and lovely outdoor courtyard. The service is quick and the steaks are terrific. Pretty good value and if you feel like casual dining and a glass of wine or beer this is very hard to beat. It is rated very highly by Time Out Sydney for good reason!

Was here on a Tuesday night, Trivia Tuesdays! Was really fun group, very relaxed and chill! Strong drinks, and a dark/romantic lower level. Steaks were cooked properly, tasty salad to go along with it and some other fixings as well. Overall, I'd be back for fun and food on another night! It was a bit spendy, so bring your wallet. Don't be put off by the outside of the building and the noise!Our son brought us here and on first glance I thought OMG!However when we arrived down in the Bistro, the staff were friendly and helpful.Good selection of drinks.The food was amazing and no noise from upstairs.Would highly recommend!

Ordered lunch and very disappointed with the portion sizes...! $20 for 4 prawns?! And $19 for one slice of cauliflower and a measly blob of lentils?! Come on!! Tasty enough but still hungry after clearing our plates...

Went to see a concert downstairs. Couldn't hear for the kitchen and noise from upstairs. Way over booked due to the columns and room in the middle of the viewing area. Won't be back......

The burgers are absolutely delicious. The Mary and Works are my two favourite. The patties are quite thin, so I'd recommend getting 2 or 3 (depending on how hungry you are). Reserva una mesa ahora

Had the double Mary Burger with bacon, and a pint of Pale Ale.....sensational. The offered Hot Sauce was a great finish!

Nice decor and small outdoor area but the drinks are so overpriced and the food is strange with not much choice.
