This place is fantastic! After catching a movie downtown, we were in the mood for something sweet before heading home. I searched for ice cream nearby, and, to my delight, this spot was just a few minutes from the theater. It was a bit crowded due to Mother's Day, but we were able to get in and order our ice cream fairly quickly. We each got two scoops in bowls, with different flavors to share. They really give a generous amount of ice cream, and I must say, everything was delicious. We’re already planning to come back as we walked to our car. On the way, we glanced at the menu and noticed all the various sundaes, shakes, and malts they offer. We will definitely return soon!

The best ice cream I’ve ever had! There are so many flavors to choose from, and they all taste incredibly fresh; you can tell they aren't store-bought. I tried the cherry cheesecake flavor, and it was bursting with tart cherries! I also enjoyed a hot dog and cheese curds, all of which were fantastic. The staff is super friendly, and the place is exceptionally clean! The decor has a charming 1950s vibe, combining vintage and modern elements beautifully. Plus, the sundae was topped with ice cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and cherries! I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it!

Great staff. Classic Old-School-Jucker Shop/Scoop-Platz. Very recommended! Everything about this place cries in 1960. The stool, drop service area, signs on the walls with their menu. And the girls who work there. Where did they find them? They're all so nice. Five stars for this rareness. This place is a throwback in more than one. The atmosphere and the pleasant staff are so enjoyable. OH, and the ice treats are also wonderful! Enjoy...

On the anniversary of the birth of my eldest daughter, I sought a place to celebrate the occasion. After considering many options, I chose to patronize the Union Dairy. Many a happy times have I spent there in the past, and this would turn out to be another happy memory to add to my collection. Union dairy is like stepping back in time! It is always fun to go there and enjoy a scoop. Service is great too, we decided to bring a favorite flavor home even though it was hot out and had 40 minutes of drive time. The super server went above and beyond and packed our ice cream in ice!

I've been visiting this restaurant for the past 30 years, and the atmosphere is simply wonderful! My children always love it here; they enjoy watching the servers create their imaginative ice cream desserts. I was also pleasantly surprised by how delicious the Veggie Burger was!

Favorite ice cream place anywhere, period. Price is more than reasonable, selection is fantastic and can’t beat cedar crest!
