Todays experience wasn’t a pleasant one.We had a horrible waiter unlike other times.The food wasn’t prepared the way we ordered. The waiter never came over to see how was the food and if we need anything. We asked for napkins we got two little bar napkins. Finally we had to asked another waiter for the check. Our waiter decided to bring us the check which he placed it on the table and didn’t say a word. All I can think is that this person had no manners and no proper training. The Urban Hamlet needs to hired people with experience and some level of basic education.
Cool, casual, and comfortable but classy ambiance that allowed for a mix of guests (indoor and outdoor) including happy hour bar patrons, families, couples, etc.The staff was very attentive and the food was decent. We went as a two family group of 8 and my wife advised that I should be planning a return for date night.Kid friendliness: We didn't feel self conscious with our group of four sweet but decibel challenged little ones.
The ambiance is fantastic, especially if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. We loved all the dishes we tried on a Saturday night, including octopus, chicken, branzino, beef cheeks, apple crisp, and panna cotta. The servers were friendly and incredibly attentive. If you enjoy figs and bourbon, definitely give the "Figgin' Awesome" cocktail a try!
The food was excellent, a bit on the expensive side, but the portion sizes are quite generous. The quality is consistently high. You can feel the vibrant urban atmosphere all around. It wasn’t too cold when we sat outside, and the fireworks added a lovely touch to the ambiance!

Food and drinks were excellent. We had the tuna nachos first and we each ordered a flatbread (figs and blanco). The place is a bit dark and the acoustics aren't great. My friend felt she was speaking too loud and I couldn't hear her.
I visited Urban Hamlet for the first time and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic!
The grilled octopus was incredible! The crabmeat mac and cheese from the brunch menu was also delicious. The mimosas were spot on!
I love this place. I’ve never had a crab empanada before until today. It was so tasty, the filling inside was seasoned well.
