My choice for my birthday, I chose this place. Spent almost 100, was excited to get home and stuff my face. I kept reading the amazing reviews this place had. Threw away 90% of the food. Not one of us finished our food. Such a disappointment. It was the flavour, and amount of grease. I'll give it another shot, as I always say sometimes the cooks are having an off night or the right cook isn't working that night. A cook can make or break your business.
Me and my partner went here just on a whim on our way to somewhere else, and honestly I am blown away. We had deep fried wontons, a noodle bowl, and one of the lunch combos. All of it was DELICIOUS. Everything was clearly homemade, and our server was extremely nice. I only docked a star because the chicken balls were very heavy on the breading and the fried rice could have used a bit more flavour, but overall we will definitely be coming back.
Pinehouse location has the rudest employees ever. Called in to order and was treated rudely because their employees don't want to learn their skip menu. The numbers are different so it confused the guy that answered the phone. He tells me what the number is on the in store menu and when I tell him what is on their pickup menu on line gives me attitude. If you can't handle customers better you won't get my business.
very impressed by the menu selection in this beautiful little Vietnamese restaurant. our lunch order for our group of 4 included: honey dry ribbed, deep wontons vietnamese spring rolls to share. then sate seafood, 2 pork 1 charbroiled chicken vermicelli noodle bowls. our waitress was fast, friendly very efficient during a fairly busy Saturday lunch hour. we will definitely return when the opportunity is presented. I had lunch with my grandmother for the first time today, for the first time in a long time my grandmother had no trouble with eating. I myself was shocked how much I eat in my meal got definitiw enough for two. the place was very clean, and both the waiter, waiter and coworker, where really nice to treat. this will be one of my restaurants to go when we go out.
