I also ordered a mocha. solid taste and temperature. the prices were fair for sf (and for the quality of food.) so what is so great at the place? the atmosphere. beautiful soft rock music at a good band to conduct a conversation. classic sf caffe interior look (Dink-Down sf shop. it is a good thing.) very nice dame that leads the cash. close to the GG park without the tourist! Loads bike parking. Now I hate it when restaurants give them 2 or less jam packages for their toast. velo rouge is neat little caffe perfect for a bike tour pit stop. They have bicycle stands out and is on argumentllo, which is a busy bike ride to the presidio from the golden gate park. they don't even have to lock their bike in because of the sitting outside. we had coffee and an breakfast burrito $14. the coffee was not bad. the breakfast burrito was very delicious. service was fast and friendly. great staff at velo rouge.
The food and ambiance at this restaurant are fantastic, and the service is usually quick and attentive. However, during my recent visit, I placed a takeout order that typically takes 15 minutes to prepare. The hostess, who I believe is named Yasmine, took multiple orders from other customers before I had to flag her down again to get my food. Despite this hiccup, the initial server I interacted with was great and very polite.
Wonderful atmosphere in a great location. Excellent and eclectic breakfast menu. Service is somewhat lacking (I stood for five minutes at the counter without so much a hello I 'll be right with you and the prices are quite high.

Velo Rouge is such a magical little cafe! Yummy food, incredible coffee, great spot for brunch or a stop on your cycling ride. Easy going for a little weekday morning working.
The food was amazing! I ordered the French toast and it arrived quickly. The cashier/server was very friendly. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
All the workers are great ... I don't like the condiments in packets , I prefer the regular bottles.
They made a mistake on our breakfast sandwich order, but overall it's not a bad place to eat.
