I still dream of the view seafood mac cheese. my friends and I visited a night out of the mainland and the view was one of the top spots that appeared in a Google search for evening options. After we have read all the brilliant reviews, we decided to give it a try and I am so glad that we have done it! our server was so beautiful and friendly. the ambiente is beautiful, I wish it was a bit warmer than the place we sat on the back of the restaurant was quite cool. we ordered the calamari and prawns gratin for appies and then shared the three entrees: seafood mac cheese, linguine capesante and seared halibut risotto. everything we cost was incredible! we were sad that we were no longer hungry...
This restaurant is the perfect spot for dinner. We requested for the dishes to be made without extra salt and they turned out to be excellent. The wine selection is quite impressive. However, there is a limitation in accommodating groups larger than 4 people. The service was top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was also pleasant, earning a 4 out of 5. Recommended dishes include the East Meets West Calamari and Lamb Sirloin. The price per person for dinner ranges from CA$60 to CA$70.
We always enjoy a fantastic meal at this restaurant, with a wonderful atmosphere. However, the service was rushed, unfriendly, and slapdash. It felt very impersonal and we were not impressed with being seated so close to the entrance. Unfortunately, the disappointing service is still a topic of conversation for us. Overall, the food was excellent (5), the service was lacking (2), and the atmosphere was pleasant (4). The price per person for dinner is around CA$60-70.
I do not recommend this restaurant at all. The food was terrible, as the eggs were cooked in burnt oil and gave us a stomachache for almost two days. The young server was completely inexperienced and got everything wrong. The section we were seated in was not even ready when we arrived at 11:00 am, and it was cold inside. The most disappointing taste of food ever. Not worth the price. The tables made the atmosphere feel like a fancy gas station diner look, the food was like made with frozen seafood. The meat sauce for the schnitzel was so sour that I tasted a lemon crust. The noodles inside of the plate was tasting like an egg. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
sharon was our server and absolutely so friendly. she would be my good friend if I lived in nanaimo. eating was amazing! the portions are in the round two meal times. and the aromen, seafood are top quality and cost is fantastic for the great quality of the food. has from the cooks, the ambiente and the friendly servers.
