The View, Westbury

We went to have a roast dinner around 3pm, ordering was very fast and drinks delivered quickly, when the food came, the veg came out to share between 2, I personally think that it was not enough veg for everyone, the pork was OK but when we tried to cut the chicken and it was rubbery and very tough and basically inedible. The chicken tasted like it was cooked and then kept hot for hours. When we called the server over we explained that the chicken was not good and asked if we could get another portion of chicken. The server came out 5 minutes later with a portion of chicken and it was exactly the same, I gave up with the chicken and also the roast potatoes as they were quite hard. No one cam...

Lovely looking place, done out really nice. Really nice and clean. Only let downs were: ordered a mocktail, they had no strawberry for it, so had to have passionfruit, I ordered a chicken burger they sent out a beef burger so I had to have it returned. Portion sizes were okay, not as good as I expected. Extremely loud inside and out, difficult to hold a conversation. Two of our table ordered the same pizza but one had no pulled pork and loads of beef and the other had no beef and loads of pulled pork. My friend wanted cocktails and was told she could only have 2 of the same she couldn’t mix and match. I hope that as time goes on these little things iron themselves out.

We arrived at opening time and staff were welcoming and helpful. Ordered food and it was nice. Food came and was very tasty. Pizzas were fresh and cooked really well. By the time we finished our meal, football was on both large tvs and bar/tables was filled with young lads shouting and we couldn't hear ourselves talk so left as soon as we had eaten. Such a shame there is no where people can eat inside if they want to have a quiet evening with friends or family.

Fantastic food and setting, only downside was a quiet meal for two or, a steak and wine romantic dinner, is in the same space as pub drinkers cheering or cussing at the football on the big screens! Needs to separate the 2 types of customers somehow so everyone gets the best experience from this wonderful venue Reserva una mesa ahora

We visited for Sunday lunch, which was served quickly, but the food could have been much hotter, as it was only lukewarm. The beef and pork were tasty, but we were uncertain about the potatoes being labeled as “roasted.” The Eton Mess had more cream than meringue, which was a bit disappointing.

Only had nachos and dirty fries so hard to judge food, however there was a bit too much runny cheese sauce-due to this the chips and nachos were a bit soft. The atmosphere and service was amazing

Really nice venue, girls on the bar were lovely and friendly, little bit of a wait for the food but was delicious when came out. Best fries ever! overall really nice defo come back

The food was delicious and offered great value for money. The scenery was beautiful, and the staff were very polite.
