First and foremost, the food was very good. I had clams oreganata and the mussels and loved both. Son had clam chowder and butternut squash ravioli--both delicious. Husband had special beet salad and was disappointed (roasted beets were cold and goat cheese was spread on toast instead of incorporated); he ordered the steak sandwich and said was fine. Wasn't sure if there was going to be a crowd since it was Saturday night and there were a lot of reservations available on Opentable. But, surprisingly, almost every table was full. Perfect evening: unexpected, noticeably high quality ingredients (salmon, wild caught); a “best ever” rating from my picky husband on their signature chicken dish; attentive, intelligent service; responsive management when our tartufo arrived rather melted but we ate it anyway since it was so good were given a free carrot cake to take home!
