The Village - Reserva de mesa

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful "town green: location. I started with a crack of chili, lots of ground beef and even more vegetables, topped with cheddar cheese and chives, served with the best cornbread ever. I then had two fried oyster tacos with a great spicy slaw and topped with a very yummy seafood romaulade sauce. Next, fried artichoke hearts that I loved but had to finish at home, I was too full. Debbie had some scrumptious clam chowder and a New York Sirloin cooked rare with fries. She liked it a lot. I really liked this restaurant, it was very busy but we got a great table in the bar area.

Went here on a whim as I was passing through the area. Have to say that I was not impressed. Service was very lackluster. Waitress at the bar made it seem like we were a big inconvenience being there. Food was average, and that's being kind. Probably wouldn't return here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Honey glazed Pork chops, with rice and Steamed squash and vegetables very good. White Russian Drink was excellent. Wife's Chicken Parmagian was very good. The Brownie sundae desert was very delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This is a must visit location when in Litchfield. Fantastic menu, full bar, excellent and knowledgeable staff The Village is a staple in this community!
