The Villager Tavern

This place is supposedly run by a frustrated musician that gets mad when nobody is putting attention to his thing. Then he started getting mad and mean to whoever crosses his way. The place is just okay nothing extraordinary and small. The people made the vibe, sometimes cool sometimes full of college kids. I’ve been here a couple times but every single time there is something disappointing. Why coming back … only because of the location.

As someone who isn't necessarily a dive-bar kind of person, I can definitively that this place is the best. They are pretty engaged with the community (got to do running &chess tournament my 2 favorite things in one night), the owner is cool, and their Beef Po hit the spot. Would not change a thing about this place.

i’m 50 years old and got carded. ok, no problem. then he refused to serve me because my drivers license was expired by a week. really??
