The Villager Tavern

Moved to Nashville from England, found the villager purely by chance. What a happy accident that turned out to be. Real old school pub with great beer selection, atmosphere and juke box. The gumbo is also fire. I’m now here every Friday and it’s my go to bar for me and when I have people visiting from out of town.

We were eating brunch across the street on a Friday, and Andrew lured us in with the microphone. It was the most welcoming and fun little dive bar. Andrew was funny and welcoming. We are already talking about needing to go back to Nashville just to go back to this little bar.

I love this place! Being from South Louisiana, this place has a New Orleans flair and the owners are so friendly and treat you so well. You can get PoBoys and Gumbo there! It’s the place to hit before a movie at the Belcourt Theater.

Quant place that has the best gumbo I've ever had. The beer is good and Rhonda our bartender is so wonderful.. we didn't want to leave. I recommend highly for a cold beer and great food! Reserva una mesa ahora

i’m 50 years old and got carded. ok, no problem. then he refused to serve me because my drivers license was expired by a week. really??
