Most awful experience at a pub I’ve ever had. My friend accidentally dropped a drink where the glass had smashed and security were dealing with it when one of the men who claimed he was an owner (I believe his name is Bill) came over extremely drunk and aggressive and demanded we got kicked out. 3 of us with the group we’re girls and politely explained it was just an accident when Bill then began pushing us out of the gates with force. He got increasingly aggressive with us and in the midst of it actually hit one of the girls in the face. I tried to tell the security that he was now pushing and hitting the girls but he was unbothered to listen. He continued to try to fight the group of young...
My friend chose for a family party. Only a short walk from where we had parked at the bowling alley as the parking looks a bit tight around the area with double yellow lines, etc. As not local it may be you could get closer. They had corned off part of the bar for the event, though people could walk through as it was by the one of the entrance doors. Its nice inside, not too big, which worked for us. We had a couple of tables and with the bar stools more than enough seating. They do not do food on site but order it in. All the bits were really nice so no issues there. The bar staff were really good and on the ball. All in all was a nice pub to visit and it seems to be popular as it was busy...
I’ve never been in this venue before so wasn’t sure what to expect when meeting friends here . We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our booked area in the garden. Staff were friendly and efficient drinks were good plus a DJ was on for the night , what more could you want. The young girl that seemed to be in charge seemed more than capable to keep things in order and running smoothly and I liked the fact that she was hands on and seen as opposed to just standing behind the bar area , working in hospitality myself I always think that is an important role to be involved and approachable .
Went to pub when walking in the area with 2 friends on the basis of it being a recommended Camra pub on arrival found it sold only Doom Bar and Old Speckled Hen not the most inspirational Beers. We settled for 3 pints of the Hen which were cloudy, vinegary and smelt way past their best. Was told by barman in was “a new barrel” beer tasted awful , we left after 15 mins and will not be returning …

We visited here as a group of friends on thursday it was kareoke night which was perfect we all had a fantastic night the lady who looked after us i think her name was susan i hope thats right she was a breath of fresh air so kind and bubbly a real credit to the pub thank u so much sweetheart cant wait to come back next thursday x xx
A pub next to Sherlock Holmes museum at the Baker Street (and close to Madame Tussauds). A traditional English pub (at least according to my tourist imagination). We had a good lunch there but it is not the place I would specially travel several stops by Underground, bus etc.
Visited the pub recently for a Birthday celebration. Found the pub very friendly and welcoming. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful There was a very good singing duo playing which where very good and not too load Would recommend the pub
Great friendly local pub. Always accomodating to our needs. Live sport and great music. Staff lead by Dan and Laura are brilliant. We have eaten here a coiple of times and always had great food.

local pub, run by a great group of people, not many place like this left. reasonably priced drinks and good entertainment at the weekend, worth a try.
