I have had the great pleasure of celebrating my recent May Day birthday at the WB Yeats Pub in Fonthill Road, Finsbury Park N4 by dining there twice in one week! the first was on the day itself early in the evening with my...lovely girl friend and second on the Sunday with my family for a full Roast lunch. The food is superb as good as it gets and must stand up there with the Michelin starred alternatives but at a reasonable price and in a setting that is so comfortable and informal. here friends met for lunch, who live locally and really like it. the interieur is pleasant and welcoming and dog-friendly, which is great. the Starter menu is somewhat limited for Sunday dinner, the Brat menu has a larger choice with a vegetarian dish, a huh to share, bark meat, pigeons and stuffed cath of rabbits. I decided for the latter, unfortunately it was stuffed with only the false, straight up and very raw (the heart was ****, I did not eat particularly raw, so that the whole filling left on the plate. the flesh itself was ok, not dry and aromatized by the sink that wraps the frying but on places, undercooked for my taste, which is a shame. the yorkshire pudding was very good and ver...

Visited recently with family and I was so impressed with the standard of the roast dinner. Two of us had the beef rump and it was beautifully tender. Two shared the whole roast chicken which was expertly carved at the table. Lamb and pork roast...also went down a treat. Massive Yorkshire puddings, great gravy and decent veg too. Save room for dessert. The chocolate fondant is delicious! Excellent service too so a very enjoyable afternoon. Money well spent!

I came to the wb yeats twice on Friday and Saturday night. the pub has a beautiful interior and local feeling and there is a reasonable but not stunning selection of beer. the prices are high for the counter and some of the...less regularly cast beers don't always taste as good as they in other pubs. that's not a terrible pub, but to drink I think there's better pubs in the opposite.

We were greeted immediately at the door by the manager seated in this bright friendly pub. The food was absolutely fantastic. If you have pub lunch for 15 you don’t expect all the meat veg to be perfectly cooked but it all...was! All 15 of us had absolutely not complaints. The service was speedy efficient. It really was a great experience!

Enjoyed a perfect family (adults) lunch in this fine example of a London pub that has adapted to its locality, community and current trends. Great buzzing atmosphere so not for a romantic cosy meal but great food, great drinks selection and friendly, efficient staff and...service. The lamb shoulder cassoulet was excellent.

Although it was the name and the view of the place that drew my attention to me, I was glad that I came here, it was worth it. I found it a bit too expensive, but the staff is very good, so I don't mind too much.

eating was amazing both I and my partner loved eating, I am vegan and he eats meat and fulfills both our requirements! the staff are very friendly and the whole atmosphere was well recommended defo

my family and I had a really terrible time here. the staff was very aggressive and eating was not bad. the faltering fallback is just around the corner and much more beautiful.

The brunch is fantastic, we’ve tried quite a few of the dishes now and it never disappoints. It’s a must try if nearby!
