The Walrus - Reserva de mesa

I went to the Walrus as a pub (it is also a hostel) for a few years and the place is great! The beer is good, they have a wide range of cocktails and spirits. It has a friendly, slightly bohemian vibe with a younger crowd and the staff are generally really friendly. They play good tunes and most sports games on terrestrial TV on the big screens. As its also a hostel you can meet people from all over the world as they come and go. They do an amazing shot called the Michael Jackson which i could recommend.

This is a bar with a hostel upstairs on side. The staff were super friendly and walked me up. Shower had great water pressure and plentiful hot water. WiFi was average...better at night. 15% discount at the bar. Breakfast was good. Real butter! Nice homey feel and authentic british experience. One centralized electricity extension... they pick your bunk for you. The showers and bathrooms on all floors were full (1 on each floor).

Was on my way back to my hotel after a long day when I had the good fortune to stumble into The Walrus. It's a nice cozy pub which has a very low key feeling. I had a couple of reasonably priced beers and soaked in the atmosphere. If you're looking for a simple pub just of the beaten track, The Walrus is a pretty good choice.

Friendly pub that does offers not the widest range of beers but usually has something worthwhile on tab. Relaxed, easy going with young staff. Has linked hostel (and a twin up the road in the more sophisticated Horse and Stables Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited here for a good few hours Saturday afternoon into evening. Great friendly pub with a really nice vibe. Very clean and tidy, great choice of things on tap all reasonably priced. Great choice of music too!

Needed a no nonsense drink or two on Saturday night, 100 yards from the 'Nox Hotel ' Lower Marsh, I enjoyed the vibe good rock music, not too loud, beers were good, real ale and Guinness.

Sarah and Jackie were lovely. Amazing night, made our friends birthday brilliant. Best pub in plymouth. Plan to come back at least once a month : thank you sarah jackie and nick

Atmosphere is relaxing. Bar service was good. Drinks selection was good as well. Didn't have time to order any food not sure of selection. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely pub with good selection of beer and drinks. Great place for watching a game. Good and friendly service

The staff was fun, couches really cozy and they had a good variety of beers and cocktails. Do recommend.
