I recently visited this restaurant on the recommendation of my brother and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent, the ambiance was great, and the food was cooked to perfection. It was definitely great value for money and it's no surprise why this place is so popular. I highly recommend trying the Wandering Duck Full English breakfast. Overall, I would give this place a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere. The price per person typically range from £10 to £20 for a meal.
Will not be returning. Over priced and miserable service. Was immediately told on entering if I wanted food I had 2 mins to decide as they stop serving at 2pm despite sign clearly stating 2:30pm. Then heard them take an order 20 minutes later and also say to others they serve until 2:30pm. Pulled beef sandwich was dry and sour dough burnt. Served coke with a dirty glass. Mars Bar brownie however was amazing and decent coffee. Ladies toilet ceiling and sink in need of repair.
Had lunch here, everything came hot and lots to eat. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere . One of our meals was forgotten so came after the others, but handled professionally and reflected in the bill. Definitely recommend.
