The Waring House Pub and Restaurant

We occasionally visit the county as we've come to love PEC wines and now have our favourite wineries. We have now stayed at The Waring House three out of four visits. It is nice after a day of touring around to have two restaurants available for dinner. Same chef but different ambiance - Amelia's Garden for finer dining, The Barley Pub for a more casual low key dinner. I'd like to say we have always enjoyed our stay here, but we have a mixed review this time. Our first night we ate at Amelia's Garden. Delicious food, and wonderful attentive service. My friends and I came for dinner while visiting the county and loved it! The food was fresh, hot and very tasty! We also had a really great waitress who was warm, friendly and very attentive to us! The atmosphere is great as they have live music playing in the pub, we sat outside on the beautiful patio but could still enjoy the music! It is a bit too loud in there. We all had burgers and they were delicious and reasonably priced! The grounds of the property are nice to explore as well, will definitely be back next time I am in PEC!

Went for a late dinner. Ordered the ribs with sides, all really good. Not bad for pub food. Great selection of craft beers with an emphasis on local breweries. This place features live music on the weekends. Saw a very entertaining set of a duo Jennis that played both covers and original music. Had a great night!

I took a chance and chose this dining room for my husband's birthday.No regrets, the service and food was excellent, beautiful decor. we sat by the window with a beautiful view of the garden And 4 bird feeders, made our time there very pleasant.Would definitely recommend the dining room. Had heard great things over the years about Amelia’s Garden Restaurant, but it did not quite live up to expectations. Decor felt dated - perhaps time to at least replace the dark blue curtains with the huge flower prints? Food was good but we felt it did not warrant the prices charged.

The Waring House and their Barley Room are a dependable choice for those looking for gluten-free options in Prince Edward County. We decided to have our wedding here and they offered a fully catered menu that met all of our gluten-free requirements.

Went to Wharing House for there Sunday Brunch. It was wonderful, so many choices. Would recommend. For afternoon and evening fun the Pub is great. Food is pub fare but good. A lot of evenings has live entertainment which is really great.

A very busy place but they managed to seat 6 of us. The band playing was entertaining and brought us to our feet to dance. Food was delicious although it took abit of time because of the amount of people. Packed house! Reserva una mesa ahora

rolle into town late, no reservations or plan in particular ...started with a delicious clam chowder followed by a burger and fries...very pleased with the quality and flavour!

We enjoyed the wings and burgers. Great selection of local craft beer. The servers are great. They often have live music is fun.
