I've visited this place three times. The first time was when it first opened, and the food was great. I enjoyed a great steakwith maple glazed brussels sprouts.Since my first visit I've been back two times and I have been actually disappointed in the food and the service.Tonight my mother wanted to go there for her birthday, and after a bad second time we decided to give it another chance. Boy were we wrong! The moment we arrived we seated ourselves and were not greeted at all by a server. We waited almost 10 minutes for the server to come over and tell us we had to wait until she could come and get our drink order. We went for an early supper and found this gem. The menu offered good choices and lots of unique creations. My companion ordered the Big Tex and we were astonished at the portion presented. HUGE. I ordered the daily pasta special and again was served a generous portion of linguini, in a cream sauce with bacon, grape tomatoes, basil and topped with a grilled and sliced chicken breast. The chicken breast was rubbery (perhaps microwaved and then grilled? I'm not sure. ) but the rest of the dish was packed with flavour and a delight.

We were looking for a place to eat at the last minute on a Saturday night and stopped here. It was very nice. A shaded patio on a moderately busy street made for a relaxing meal. The beer selection was limited but we did find some good craft beer choices. Food choices had a nice variety. We had the fish special (pickerel) and the double surf and turf burger. Both were delicious. The only downfall was the wait for food. Not terrible but a little on the long side. Still, I'm going to try it again in the future.

Went with friends to this village bistro for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent food, nice atmosphere,and lovely outdoor patio street side.We shared from the starter menu as too many good choices to pass up. The bruschetta was very tasty. Muscles were cooked in a Ceasar drink..delicious, fish tacos were tasty but cold.others had fish and chips,generous portion. I went with a friend, we had the specialty sandwich of the day. Po' Boy shrimp sandwiches. The bun was really heavy and thick,usually there are many shrimp spilling out of the sandwich....there were 4 shrimp and they were tasteless. The sauce and slaw on the sandwich were blah also. The service was great, but one server for the lunch crowd is not enough. This is not a place I want to return to any time soon

Had a lovely meal last Saturday. My wife's salmon was very nicely cooked and my taco shrimp were tasty. A couple more shrimp would have made it perfect.

Wow, what a great surprise! We stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling from West Bloomfield, Michigan to Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario.
