We visited as a group of 3 for food and drinks on a Saturday lunch time, whilst the outside was busy with two birthday party events, this did not stop us from having the perfect table in the sun to enjoy our food and drinks. The food was delicious both the starters and main courses, the chef was able to accommodate extra requests for chilli flakes too! We were left to enjoy our food and drinks without being rushed from the table either which was lovely. Special mention to Izzy who is a credit to the pub, nothing was too much for her she made us feel very welcome and ensured we were well looked after, all with a big smile on her face!
Went here with family. Handy overflow car park. Liked the layout with a small bar in the garden able to take food orders. The roasts were enjoyable too, with plenty of extra sides. Good selection of beers at the bar. Plenty of dog owners there. I would have preferred one big table rather than sitting apart on two, but all the tables could really only sit four adults unless squashed up. The gent’s loo was a bit small open-plan but apart from that we enjoyed our stay and am sure we’ll be back again soon. Oh Background music was good too.
What a great experience to share with friends and family. The breakfast was amazing. Lots to keep the kids entertained whilst we waited. The staff were excellent very patient with the little ones. The pub was so festive. When they met Santa it was magical. He had plenty to say to each of them. Gave them plenty of time to chat with him. Very impressed with his knowledge of Bluey characters. But then Santa knows everything. Will be back next year. Thank you
Last night, my daughter and I decided to try the Well House Inn Mugswell, after hearing about it by word and mouth. Wow! We were not disappointed. We stayed in the locals bar and drank and danced the night away. We made new friends and have managed to put a team together for the forthcoming charity quiz, which we are are looking forward to. Although we only had a few bites to eat, it was very good. I recommend this pub for a good night out.
We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and had a fabulous experience. I ordered the nut roast, which was the best I've ever had. The portions were generous and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely as well. We had to wait until 3:30 to be seated, but it was worth it because the restaurant is clearly very popular. We will definitely be returning for another meal.
Great friendly pub with amazing food. We were a group of 6 adults with 3 dogs and were so well catered for the dogs even got a plate of dog biscuits! The food was amazing. As a coeliac choices are usually limited but there was so much to choose from. We all ate different starters and mains and all cleared out plates! The festive burger was a thing of beauty! Very much recommend!
We had a family gathering for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday and were greeted warmly and seated at our table. The service was fantastic and the food was served quickly and deliciously cooked. The pub is hidden down a narrow lane, but definitely worth the trip. We will definitely be returning in the future.
