Went there for the Valentine 's Day Special three course meal. Food was fairly good, but there were some puzzling aspects to the dining experience: 1. The first course included Visceyssoise as the soup choice......I had never had that dish before and I was expecting a cold potato and leak soup what I got seemed to be a pureed potato/cheese blend that was both a bit spicy and served hot (in fairness, it was tasty but not what was expected by the name..... . 2. The restaurant was out of the filet mignon and substituted a strip steak (which was acceptable, if disappointing prepared as ordered. 3. It was unclear to me when ordering that the prime cut of steak was to be accompanied by Fresh fries...

Although the website listed the opening as 4:30pm, the kitchen did not open until 5pm. The rolls were excellent, as were the pinot noir and the beer. The tenderloin in the Beef Wellington tasted steamed, as if it had not been seared before wrapping in the puffed pastry, resulting in a muddy flavor. The frites were delicious, but the steak was slightly past medium rare. We ordered Sambuca, but were told it wasn 't served at The Wellington because it was served across the street at Il Casale. We ordered Drambuie instead, one up, one on the rocks. When presented with the bill, the Drambuie up was $8.00, while the Drambuie on the rocks was $10.50. We questioned the waiter regarding the $2.50 cha...
I have a son who has gluten allergies and liked the cheese puffs and burger. I have to say ever since they took the burger off the menu, we found them more and more disappointing... Last Sunday we were there. It was very quiet, which is unusual. Our waiter was pleasant but didn't bring out the puffs which does happen a lot. And it's okay. But this time, the puffs were kind of hard and stale and very salty. Kid's burger came out with cheese on, which my son did not want. I found my burger disappointing. I didn't like any of the sauce, and coleslaw was not as good as I remembered. I also prefer the brioche buns I believe they used to use. I used to love their stake frites and mussles, but they...
We have been to the Wellington at least 6 times before and have always really enjoyed our dinner/experience. Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed with everything but mostly the food. Our kids ages 16-20) like the burgers at the Wellington and for some reason the burgers were “off the menu for the next two weeks or so”. Very strange and no apology for it whatsoever. The kids all ordered steak $31) and they all said it was sub par, one even said it tasted like a frozen dinner. They were so disappointed that they went to Shake Shack afterwards because they were still hungry. On a more positive note, the food came out very quickly and we were in and out in under an hour. our server, dominic, was exceptional in providing suggestions and reviewing some of the wine selection. they have several exclusive weepings that are shared only by the sister restaurants il casale and dante’s. the selection of the appetizers is very good (check out the online menu.) we decided for the evening for the dresser steak. the preparation was excellent, the freshly seasoned velcro of the chef was excellent. the baked alaska looked great even though we had the Brownie sunshade. a great place for a quiet date.

Food was normal pub fare. Not bad but nothing special or interesting. The prices were outrageously high however. Nice looking place but it’s simply not worth what they charge.
fantastic brunch. we loved our meals. the room is so comfortable and the personal friendly and welcoming. we will definitely come back! Reserva una mesa ahora
