We went into the Westgate pub for lunch and found it to be quite a lovely old pub in the centre of Bath. The food was reasonably priced and of good quality and quantity. We must give a shout to Sam the barman who put up with my jokes and also served excellent beer with good humour. Must go there again on our next visit to Bath.
Asked for IPA shandy but told it was not good as a shandy and to pick something else????ordered food which was overpriced,the chicken was so overcooked couldn't get fork in it,sauce was dried up ,handful of chips,really poor meal.toilets stinking ! Don't bother.
Took a seat and was served at all despite the staff going by multiple times. Oh well, I guess my money will go to other businesses. As for this one, they better change their attitude if they want to keep up a good reputation.
Had a very enjoyable meal here with some friends. Lauren was very friendly and catered to our dietary requirements, and even brought a treat for our dog. Would highly recommend the katsu chicken burger Reserva una mesa ahora
Waited too long for mediocre food and service. Chicken was obviously from frozen. Looked like scraps on a plate. Never received the refund I requested.
Had an awesome time, was really well waited by Sam the bartender in particular. Really made my evening great!
Sam was out bartender and he was fab! Very friendly and made wonderful drinks. Highly recommend.
