I had come here a few times before and had a good time. However, I booked a table inside online for myself and five friends to watch the England game. I turned up at 6pm and got some drinks. I then asked where my table was that I had pre booked and I was told there is an error with the system and the table I’ve booked is actually outside and and also if I wanted food I needed to have ordered by 6:30. It was about zero degrees outside so obviously not viable to stay outside for 3 hours. Why did nobody email or call me to tell me about the error? I won’t be the only person this has impacted. Really disappointed by this as I would have expected someone to contact me rather than just let me turn...

We didn’t eat so I can’t comment on that. However, when we arrived we weren’t asked if we had a booking, we just got a hand gesture from the bouncer to go through the door and he didn’t say a word when I said we had a booking. The bar staff were slow when it came to bringing our drinks to the table and it wasn’t busy at all. They also gave us a cocktail and gave us the shot to go into it 15 minutes after they gave us the cocktail. A blonde girl behind the bar also made my partner and I incredibly uncomfortable as she was staring the whole time so we ended up leaving earlier than we had planned and went elsewhere. We have been there before and the same staff member was doing the same thing so...

We booked a table for 7pm and upon arrival they had our reservation but no table for 2. We ended up sitting at a table for 6. It was very busy so we could not order food straight away and when we could (30mins later) what we ordered was no longer available (after we ordered and paid on the app) a staff member did come over and inform us and asked what we would like instead which was nice but what we chose to replace it with was of lesser value. No refund was offered. This place used to be great with chicken wings and burgers now its just a normal pub with normal food but I think witherspoon do better food

Kitchen was closed during the World Cup final bar staff (3 of them confirmed we were ok to bring in food from outside. When doing so, the owner decided to come over and have a go at us saying we should not be doing this (although 3 of his staff confirmed it was ok! . Would never re visit and tried this place for the first time other better sports pubs

No non alcoholic beer available and was instead offered a 5.1% peroni and told there isn't much alcohol in it. Suspect you might not try that line with vegetarians, Staff didn't know how to work the TV's and a fuse blew mid afternoon. Comfy sofas though

Went in there to watch the football. The staff could not have been friendlier, or more helpful. A credit to the place. Fish, chips, footy and a cold pint of Guinness. What more can a chap ask for? (Apart from 3 points, which would have been nice)

Booked online, we arrived and were seated. I asked for a menu as there were none on the table only to be told kitchen was closed. No mention of this on the website when booking.

Such a clean place with friendly staff, excellent outside shacks with tv and heating would recommend highly such a shame it’s far away wish it was closer to home.

The food was fantastic, really tasty and nicely cooked! The staff were very welcoming, great pub overall
