The steak pie, chips, and vegetables were cooked to perfection and delicious. The rhubarb crumble and custard was also perfect. The staff were very friendly and it was definitely worth a visit. This is a place where you would feel comfortable dining alone. I must return to try the Gins of the day when I am not driving.
A great local pub. A frequently changed range of hand pulled beers. Called in for a Sunday lunch. Lovely staff here. Food is good value. Roast chicken was really nicely cooked to be tasty. Nice staff. Good beer. Tasty food. Great chef. What more could you want? Definitely worth a visit.
Many people on the ale trail were disappointed by the manager/owner's decision to only stamp cards if you drank their chosen ale, unlike other venues that stamped cards regardless of what you were drinking. I will not be returning to spend any more money here.

Great hometown pub with several different types of areas to sit both inside and out. The drinks and beer are cold, staff very friendly and food good.
Friendly bar staff, dog friendly, 4 different cask ales with alcohol free options. Very clean with lovely beer garden and the food was very good.
I dined at this restaurant twice during my time in Middlewich. The menu exceeded our expectations and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
