We have been coming to the White Horse for the last 12 years. After a hiatus we returned as Mother and Son for a well deserved evening out as Dad was away. The food continues to awe us; the fish was moist and full of flavour, the burger the best he’s had in ages. As always Rebecca and Diane, as front of house, met us with a smile and a kind word. The standards have been consistently great over the years and this is down to teamwork and a love of what they do. We’ll be back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.
We love the White Horse at Haselbury. The welcome is always warm from Rebecca and her team and there is a lovely ambience with a roaring wood burner We had broccoli soup and curried pumpkin to start followed by fish and chips. The food was delicious flavoursome and succulent . Their Sunday roast is the best in the county . We have never been disappointed and it remains our regular favourite Delicious !
Love this place! The food is fantastic. When we can we always come here for our treat Sunday roast and it is incredible. Last night we had the fish and it was amazing! Delicious and well presented. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Also must add a pint of Poretti is always enjoyed! Totally recommend and lucky to have this pub/restaurant so close to home.
One of our favourite spots, we always try to fit a visit to The White Horse when we're in the area. We love this pub: great service, warm atmosphere and wonderful food. I had the cod dish last night and my husband had the chicken, both were delicious. Needless to say, we'll be back! Thanks to Rebecca, Richard and team for another lovely evening. Wild garlic and broccoli soup to die for (and yes, it was a gamble to choose it but one that paid off brilliantly). Moist fish. Tasty and varied veg. Beef so good I never got a bite. All this and really friendly, efficient service. Need to go back soon as the vegetarian risotto with celeriac and hazlenuts looked tempting.
Superb food and service in a traditional country pub. Dishes are imaginative without being of the 4 pomegranate seed school of cooking. Arancini and scotch eggs are memorable. Risotto was delicious on our last visit. BSubday lunch, burgers and fish and chips very good too. Guest draft beers.
