The White Horse Inn

Start to finish exactly what a professionally run proper pub should be and the experience has renewed my faith I'm descent pubs. Had done a challenging hike and arrived 2 minutes before food service was ending, Landlord Jack was great allowed us to order food regardless and kept the kitchen open. We had some exceptionally well kept beer and amazing food and all I can say is I wish I had a place like this locally to me. Rooms: 5

Stopped for food and drinkies. One of the most friendly pubs. Lovely staff and lovely food. Well done everyone!!!! Food drinks: Great menu with pub favourites and some really original dishes. Steak and kidney pudding with rich gravy impressed all. Also chef knows how to cook a well-decent steak! Bravo Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

I had a great impromptu stay at The White Horse while travelling in bad weather. Jack and team were super welcoming, and I had a great night's sleep in a lovely, warm room. Top marks for delicious vegan options too! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Lovely pub right in the middle of the village. They serve locally brewed beer, and the food is superb. Friendly staff too. Service: 5 Location: 5
