What a lovely place to stay and eat! Such a lovely location and great locals. The food is UNREAL, the seafood linguini was to die for! And the steak and ale pie was the best I’ve ever had! Such a lovely rich ale filling OMG!!! Nuno and Jess are legends! Get down there for some food, a great atmosphere and maybe some of their shots. What a charming little bed and breakfast! The staff were wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent! Our room was beautiful, and we stayed for four nights with my two children, who absolutely loved it. They slept wonderfully, and I did as well! The landlord even brought out a guinea pig for my boys to see and pet, which was such a sweet touch! The whole team was delightful, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chester. The room was damp and in poor condition. The bar closed early at 7 PM. The only positive aspect of my stay was Graham, who was an efficient and capable substitute for the absent host. Rooms: 2 Service: 4 Location: 1 Hotel highlights: Quiet.
