The White Swan - Reserva de mesa

Stopped here for lunch and had cheese and pickle baguette with chips. Bread was as near tasteless as it’s possible to get and there was more pickle than cheese. Chips were tasty and hot. You get what you pay for and it was quite cheap. The bar is very old fashioned, small and rather shabby and full of locals, so much so that we felt rather out of place. It’s one of those places you wonder how they’ve managed to survive so long.

We had a really nice meal at the Swan. They accommodated both my dietary needs (gluten and dairy intolerant) and quickly brought out a dish for my very hungry four year old. The owner is a real character and made us laugh. There was a lovely warm fire in the room we sat in and the general atmosphere in the pub was jolly!

Eight of us decided at short notice to book a meal and we couldn’t have been made more welcome. The landlord and landlady pulled out all the stops to give us a friendly welcome and a good meal. We haven’t laughed so much in a long time with all the friendly banter!

Came here with friends after going to Anglesey Abbey. I'm a Coeliac and checked before going. They offered a good choice of gluten free.I had the sweet potato and spinach curry, delicious! Staff very friendly and very good service . Would certainly come back. Reserva una mesa ahora

We ate in the bar which was cosy with a log fire. All the food we had was delicious and the fish and chips looked enormous! Great also to be able to get sandwich, which a lot of pubs don't do now, but ideal if you don't want a big meal. We'd go there again.

I can't say enough nice things about the folks at this pub. I was stranded in Quy when my taxi ditched me. Not only did they give me coffee and snacks, but they also knew a friend of a friend with a taxi! I got back in Cambridge in time for my train. <3

Stopped here for lunch as the Anglesey Abbey Restaurant was rammed with all inside tables taken and didn’t want to eat outside. Had chicken baguette and fries. Took awhile turning up but forgiven as they were busy and enjoyed it when it arrived.

Wonderful Christmas dinner at this very homely pub. Nicely decorated restaurant all prepared for our pre booked club dinner. Superb meal with good size portions, nice staff and a good selection of drinks. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food price and atmosphere cope marvellously with a crowd, cost £260 for us all drink and food cheap but not in quality.
